My own sites have a global audience, so I have never optimized just for a particular market.
I see that Wordtracker is yet to separate US, UK, Aus, etc results and was wondering if there is something out there -- keyword research wise -- for Australian searches.
Regards,
Matt

Hi Matt. I believe this will help you out. You can select your country and - I'm pretty sure - find out the number of searches for your keyword (and 99 similar words). Results come from Overture.
Note that I suspect it requires a login after a couple of attempts from the same computer. At least it did for me. Not sure if I just got unlucky though.

Hi Glenn,
Thanks for the link. I managed to get continued use out of it without any requirement to register.
Thanks again,
Matt

No problems. Did it do what you wanted? I'm really interested, 'cos I haven't actually used it before. Never had the call. When you asked the question, I was just sure I'd read something about that sort of thing recently. Turns out I couldn't find the email I thought I'd seen it in, but I found the site in question instead.

I think KeywordSpy gives the most accurate keyword research on your Australian-based competitors and the PPC tactics.

I am happy with Overture keyword . It gives me satisfying results. You can use Google Adwords External Keyword tool too.
