What do I like to listen to when I'm writing? Well it all depends on the subject matter. If I'm really struggling with some copy, I prefer complete silence. But if I'm in the flow, sometimes music can strengthen that flow. Some examples: Right at the moment, my favourites: - Massive Attack (particularly Mezzanine & Protection) - David Gray - Twinnset (see ) - Norah Jones - Cassandra Wilson (particularly Blue Light til Dawn) Can't think of any more right now. |

I tend to prefer the golden sounds of silence... otherwise I find myself singing along and getting distracted 
Still, if I HAD to listen to something, I'd probably go with some smooth lounge/jazz - no words, just lots of tinkly piano and a chilled out beat. |
