Anything you write is going to be helpful. 'Swiping' (as I believe this is called) is useful because it exposes you to successful techniques. Assuming, that is, you're swiping quality copy.
But you don't need to limit yourself to just what others have already written about. Just pick any old company and write them a new Home page or a new Services page.
